Constituencies of Uttar Pradesh

The state of Uttar Pradesh holds 80 parliamentary constituencies including 17 constituencies reserved for scheduled caste. Uttar Pradesh has 403 legislative assembly constituencies from which 85 are reserved for scheduled caste candidates.

The situation is very unpredictable in Uttar Pradesh politics as the Akhilesh Yadav and his Samajwadi Party seems to be broken down by having internal issues, while Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party itself doesn't stand much chance due to the failure of acquiring trust among the people of Uttar pradesh. She was given a chance by people to serve the state in 2007 but she disqualified and Akhilesh Yadav won the elections in 2012. For BJP this is a test match to predict their future in 2019's elections following their demonetization move. If BJP loses UP, they are most likely to lose 2019 too.
